Volter International was proud to collaborate with Kingston City Council to transform Moorabbin Junction After Dark into a radiant celebration of light, colour and community. Held over two weekends, this free night-time festival invited locals to explore Moorabbin’s laneways and public spaces, brought to life with immersive lighting, live performances and interactive art.

Our role was to illuminate the streets with a vibrant mix of neon installations drawn from across multiple Volter International collections — creating glowing focal points that guided visitors through the precinct and enhanced the festival’s lively atmosphere.

The Neon Experience

The installation featured some of our most popular neons, including:

👼 Neon Angel Wings – a crowd favourite for photos and social media moments.
🌈 Neon Archways – transforming walkways into glowing portals of light.
🚀 Neon Junior Astronaut & Astronaut – inspiring curiosity and play among families and kids.
🏖️ Day at the Neon Beach Collection – adding a splash of colour and summer energy to the urban streetscape.
📍 I AM HERE – encouraging visitors to mark their moment within the illuminated festival.

Together, these installations created a multi-sensory neon trail that invited visitors to pause, interact, and connect — all while showcasing the creativity and energy that define the Moorabbin community.
